The Chingay parade was held in Georgetown, Penang on Sunday (22nd December 2008). The procession started from Padang Brown to Esplanade wia Datuk Kramat Road, Penang Road, Burmah Road, Transfer Road, Sri Bahari Road, Chulia Street, Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling and Light Street. This event was organised by the coorperation of Penang Chingay Association, Pesta Pulau Pinang and Wushu Lion and Dragon Dance Association.
