We did not book any hotel for the 5th night. Also, on the 5th day, we went to Berastagi.

This is what we had for breakfast — Pancakes with Cheese.

Took a picture with the owner before we left.

We took the boat across. When we reached there, our driver (we hired a driver to fetch us there) took us to a few places along the way.

Went to Lake Toba for vacation on 27th May 2011 to 1st June 2011 with family and dad’s friend, Uncle Yao, together with his family. It was really relaxing and I had an enjoyable time there. We did a lot of activities there like cycling around Tuk-tuk town, plucked corn, horse riding, horse carriage riding, played pool, etc… The people there were very friendly and it’s nice staying among them. The place was cooling, not to mention the water was freezing when we bathe. The food were delicious as well. Although the food in some of the restaurants were very salty, but overall, it taste good!!

I took a lot of pictures of the trip, as usual… But this time there’s an additional thing for you enjoy. Guess what?? There’s a video too!! So, you can enjoy seeing the pictures and also enjoy watching the video! This is my 1st time filming and my 1st time editing video, making it into a movie (slideshow). Will post the video below. Don’t forget to leave your comment.

Well, there were surprises here and there, good and not-so-good (I wouldn’t say bad cuz it was not that bad), but overall, it was still AWESOME!! So here’s what happened on the 10th of March 2011….

A few minutes before the clock strike 12, the electricity went off!! Surprised from TNB!! *LOL* more…

It’s Christmas day and it’s also my brother (Amos) ‘s 16th birthday. Went church for Christmas service this morning. After that, my dad took us to Evergreen Laurel Hotel for buffet and also to celebrate Amos’ birthday. The food there was not bad, or maybe it was because I was hungry that time. Anyway, it’s the 1st time Amos had buffet in the hotel and he was excited even the day before we went. Here are some pictures taken using iPhone 3Gs.

Wow!! Time do pass by fast. Just a blink of an eye and it’s already February! I know my last update was in January. Well, here are some updates on what’s going on.

- College is still great! Had my 1st assignment to do and it’s due on week 8, which is next 3 weeks. For 2D and Colour Studies, we are required to make a carrier (to put things inside. For example, a bag, a box…etc…). For Drawing class, we need to draw a pile of oranges and also a handkerchief. And for Computer Studies, we need to design a milk carton.

- Followed my dad to PECC (Penang E-Community Club) last 2 Friday and helped out by guiding the senior citizen on using Facebook. Bernice was the teacher and the volunteers including me were there to help. I’m gonna teach them about blogging soon! (^.^) more…

Since it’s a long holidays, dad arrange golf lessons for my brother and me at the Bukit Jambul Country Club. Both of us have been junior golf members there for some time but so far we have been only using the pool. It would really be a waste to the golf membership if we don’t know how to play golf.

Our first lesson started on Tuesday (15/12/09) and the coach was Mr SS Goon. It was kinda fun but very tiring. Mr Goon taught us about the position and also how to swing. When I reached home, my whole body started to ache and is still aching a little now. But overall, it was not bad. It’s really fun when you manage to hit the balls. Once we know how to play, we are planning to start golfing with my dad in the morning now that schooling is over for me. He has stopped playing golf for a few years as he has no golf kaki to play with him in the morning when all his friends are working. Once we know how to play, we will then be his golf kaki.

After dinner at Nyonya Cafe, we went to try out Fish Spa which is located just right next to the Nyonya Cafe. This is our first time at the Fish Spa and it was so funny. When the fishes (which are called Nibble Fish) started to swarm our feet, we felt the initial first minutes of ticklish and we keep on laughing non-stop. You should had seen my mum. She laugh the loudest. Here are a little bit of information on Fish Therapy.

Fish Therapy is a type of the Spa found in  around the world espescially in Asia. It is known for its therapeutic relaxation at the nibbling of a unique fish, commonly known as Nibble Fish. Fish Spa is totally fun and yet relaxing experience for everyone and at the same time, beneficial for both beauty and overall body wellness. It is originated hundreds of years ago from Asia Middle East’s hot springs and has more than 10 different types of fishes which can be categorized to 2 major species ‘Licker’ and ‘Striker’. They are different in physical outlook but both are known for their ability to seek and nibble our dead cells from our skin, leaving it smoother and softer, even after only one session of therapy. The nibbling effects from the Nibble Fish creates a micro-massage on our feet which is equivalent to tiny electrical jolts to stimulate better blood circulation and activate our body’s nerve endings, which are all at our feet and soles. Here are some pictures taken while my family and I were at the Fish Spa.
