Jocund January

January is over, and here comes February. January has been a jocund (cheerful/high spirits) month for me, and as you can see from the pictures, I’ve been going out with friends quite often. Let’s see what happen in January, shall we?

Let’s start from the 1st picture (top left), and we’ll go from left to right. XL Campus (a group of campus students coming together every Friday night) has 7 new comers! To these 7 people, welcome to the campus family. 🙂

Ru Sern’s sister got married a few weeks ago, and boy…the wedding was amazing. The decorations were so nice and everything from the performances to the food servers were so professional. Not to mention the pre-wedding video was very creative.

The next picture is Jeshua’s farewell. Yes, in XL Campus, we’ll organize farewell dinner for those who are leaving. He left to KL to study Japanese language. Interesting, right?  I would wanna learn Korean if I have a chance! Heh!

The fourth picture was taken during lunch outing with my bestie from college, Momo and my brother, Amos.

Next one was taken when I went out with Joshua and Daniel. It’s been a while since I last went out with them. And thanks to them, that night was filled with so much laughter. 😀

And the last picture, is obviously…ME! Don’t have to explain further, right? Heh! 😉

Since Chinese New Year (CNY) is coming, I painted my nails with dotted flowers on it. Sadly, I painted too early and it didn’t manage to last until CNY. If you’re wondering how I did this, you can check out the tutorial I’ve posted in December 2012.

I’ve also been crazy over Starbucks lately. Honestly, I wasn’t a fan of Starbucks…until I tasted their “Green Tea Latte”. From then on, every time I passed by Starbucks, I’ll start thinking and craving for that latte.

CNY is just around the corner, and all the malls are decorated with nice pink sakura flowers. It just gives me the mood. 🙂

Lately, I’ve seen a lot of shops selling cupcakes (3rd & 5th picture). They look pretty, don’t they? I’ve also found a new tea restaurant called “Victoria Rossa” (2nd picture). Got to know that shop, thanks to Amanda Sim. Victoria Rossa is famous for their English cake and scones! Their tea is good too. The aroma is really nice.

Lastly is barbecue night. It was a great spending time with these people. Jeshua even came back from KL to join us. More about this can be found here.

So that’s basically what’s going on in the month of January for me. It was truly a great month getting to know new friends and keeping in touch with old friends. With these people, my life is indeed filled with jocund. I’ve learnt a new word! Haha… *pats self* 😉 Until then, adios!
