Today is our school’s graduation day. It is also the last day of school for all of us, form five students. Many teachers and students cried just now in school. It’s the last day to share our laughter and tears. The last day to enjoy school life before going out to the “real world”. After the assembly, the teachers gather around and we all (form five students) shook hands with all the teachers. Some teachers even gave us a hug and wish us all the best in everything we do in the future. It is a very sad day as they had been here with us for 5 years. After shaking hands with the teachers, we took pictures with our friends and not to mention our teachers too. Time pass by so fast and it is sad to say that this is the end of high school. And in a few more days, we will be sitting for SPM examination which is the most important and the final exam in high school. After that, we will all be going to our separate ways. Some of us may not even be in Penang anymore and we’ll hardly see each other. Only the memories will remain. Here are the pictures taken in school just now. But before that, I would like to share this video too. It’s a great song for today. (^.^)
I don’t know why I’m up so early. I couldn’t sleep and so is my brother. We woke up at the same time and none of us can go back to sleep. Anyway, the school holidays are finally here! For those who are going to Youth Camp, the journey starts this morning at 7a.m (I think…). They would most probably on the way to Gopeng Resort now and will only be back on 3rd June.
For those of you that are going to Youth Camp, I just want to pray that all of you will have a safe journey there. I hope that all of you will be touched and have an awesome time. I remember when I went to camp in year 2005. It was a blast. It really touched me and brings me closer to God. So enjoy, have fun and appreciate because there are people like me who really wanted to go but parents don’t allow. Hope you guys will learn more during the camp and have a closer relationship with God after the camp.
As for me, I still don’t know what am I going to do during these 2 weeks holidays. Most probably watching television and sleep (as always…). I hope this holidays will be different compared to the previous holidays where it is so boring staying at home. I will find something to do…EVENTUALLY… (>.<)
Today school was great. But what was sad is that today is En. Zaid’s last day of teaching in CGL (Convent Green Lane). He will be continue his law studies. He only come to teach temporary. As his last day, Joanne, me and a few of my friends went to McDonald to have lunch with him as well as to have a farewell party for him.
Yesterday was dad’s birthday. After tuition, my family and I went to Victoria’s Station to celebrate his birthday. Since there is no cake, I ordered Italian cheesecake with birthday candle on top to surprise him. And it work! He didn’t realise that I ordered the cheesecake for him until he saw the “Happy Birthday” word and the candle. It was another great night to remember. Of course there were pictures taken too!
This year, my birthday is a little different compared to the previous years. Usually, (the previous years) my birthday falls during the 1 week school holidays but this year, it falls on a school day and most of the schools are having exams today. I’m glad that my school exam ended last week. But eventhough it is a little different, it was wonderful.
I would like to thank my friends and family for the wish. I also like to thank all my classmates for the birthday song (Yes, they all sang me a birthday song so loud that it can even be heard in the staff room). Thank you Qing Ling, Kathleen, Maureen, Marissa and my family members for the presents. Moreover, I would like to thank my mum for the dinner and also the surprise birthday cake! And lastly, thank you to all of you for making my 17th birthday so special. This is the most memorable day.
I had to go to school this morning for leadership couse. It’s compulsary for all class monitors and assistant monitors. We had ice-breaking at first and then followed by team building and lastly, a talk from a speaker named Miss Lim Chew Boey. All of us had a great time together. It’s not as boring as I thought it would be. Here are some pictures taken.
School will be starting this Monday. I’m so excited to go back to school but at the same time sad because it’s the last year of school life. Last year of spending time with friends and enjoy school life. After that, we will all be going into different directions and chasing our own dreams. There won’t be enough time for us to hang out and chit-chat like we used to in school anymore.
For those who are same age as me, there will be SPM soon. And eventhough SPM seems to be a long way to go, time pass by very fast. Then, it’ll be the end of school… The end of school life. We may all go into different directions after school but I hope we will still treasure all those memories we had together. All those good times we had together will remain as a memory and we may also be far apart from each other, but our friendship will continue to stay strong and we’ll keep in touch with each other.
Today in school was fine. But somehow today I felt sleepy. Pn Liew scolded the class today because we are still not good in Differentiation. She said since tomorrow is a holiday, we must all study and master that chapter because that chapter is easy to score in exam. She’s like our third mother as she cares so much bout our class. more…
