This term, there are more subjects for us to study. One of the additional subject is Photography. Dad bought me a DSLR camera (Nikon D90) and my lecturer, Mac Tan would take us outing during Photography lesson for us to take some shots. Today, we went to Chowrasta Market to take some documentary pictures. It’s the 1st time I experience using DSLR camera to take pictures. Here are the pictures taken just now and for those who have not been to Penang, this is how Penang market looks like.

Went for dinner with family yesterday night at Nyonya Cafe which is located at New World Park, Penang. The food was delicious and the price is quite cheap too. You should go try it. The otak-otak was yummy! Here are some pictures taken.

Went to Harvest In Cafe, Penang for lunch with my dad and my brother just now. The food was not bad and the price is also reasonable. The cafe is located at 10, Irrawaddy Road. For those who haven’t been there before, you should really go and try the food. The business hours is from 11.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. Here are some pictures taken while we’re at the cafe.

Went to Penang Hill on Sunday (26th July 2009) with my family and some of my dad’s friends. I really enjoyed myself and so did everyone else. We went to David Brown’s Restaurant for lunch and the food were delicious. I think everyone had a great time there. Here are some pictures taken.

Did you know that there are ‘Sakura’ flowers in Penang? Well, it’s not really a Sakura flowers but it looks very much like the ones in Japan. Penang’s very sakura only blooms once every year and last about one to two weeks. It’s really beautiful. I did managed to take some pictures of the tree as my dad was driving along the road near PISA towards Sunway Tunas last week. more…
Went for lunch with Qing Ling, Kathleen and Maureen at Nando’s, Queensbay Mall, Penang. I really had an awesome time there together with them. It’s great having them there to celebrate my 17th birthday. Eventhough my birthday is tomorrow, we celebrate today because Qing Ling and Kathleen will be having exams while Maureen and I got to go to school tomorrow.

My family and I went to Kek Lok Si temple, Penang after the reunion dinner to have a look around. Since it’s Chinese New Year eve, the temple remains open until late at night. Here are some pictures taken while we’re at the temple.

The Chingay parade was held in Georgetown, Penang on Sunday (22nd December 2008). The procession started from Padang Brown to Esplanade wia Datuk Kramat Road, Penang Road, Burmah Road, Transfer Road, Sri Bahari Road, Chulia Street, Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling and Light Street. This event was organised by the coorperation of Penang Chingay Association, Pesta Pulau Pinang and Wushu Lion and Dragon Dance Association. During the parade, there were lion dance, dragon dance, and the most special thing during the parade was seeing the people balacing the flag that weight about 15 kg. more…
