20 Goals in 2020

The New Year is here and just like any other years, we make resolutions and goals. If you don’t have any goals for 2020 yet, it’s good to start thinking. These goals are meant to help inspire us to to take actions towards living the life we want to live. I’ve written out 20 goals below. They are not necessarily my own goals, but they are samples to help you when you think and write your 20 goals for this year.

1. Quit your current job. If you are not enjoying your current job, it’s time to quit and do something that you love.

2. Travel to a place that you’ve never been before. It could be a state or a country that you’ve never been before. Continue reading →

What I’ve Learnt In 2019

Every beginning of the year, we always hope that the year will “the one”. The year where everything falls into place and perfect – that it wouldn’t be like the previous years. We hope it will finally be our year. However, there will always be ups and downs, bumpy rides along the way, unexpected roadblocks we’ll encounter, etc. But despite everything that happened, there will always be significant life lessons to learn and experiences to take with us. These lessons and experiences are the ones that mold us into a better person – the person we are today. Reflecting back on 2019, here’s what I’ve learnt.

1. It is okay to say “no”.

You don’t have to be afraid to say no if there are already too many things on your plate. It is always better to focus on one thing rather than to juggle multiple things at the same time. Not only you’ll stress yourself out, but you won’t be able to perform well because your mind have so many other things to think about. Don’t ever feel bad about saying no. You don’t have to make excuses, and you definitely don’t have to feel regret or remorse. Continue reading →

25 Inspirational Travel Quotes

I have a love hate relationship with inspirational travel quotes. Sometimes they inspire me to travel (like that’s it! I’m gonna travel to at least 3 countries in a year), but when I think about the money and how I’m stuck with my job, it makes me want to cry.

However, I love reading them as they will motivate me to work harder and hopefully, quit my 9-5 job soon.

If you follow me on  Instagram  (do it! do it!) you may have already read a few of my favorite quotes, but the majority are all as new to me as they will hopefully be to you. Continue reading →

What is Love?

There is no single definition of what love really is. But to describe it simply, it’s like there wasn’t anyone that made you happier. There wasn’t anyone who made you laugh harder. And there wasn’t anyone you would have done more for.

Perhaps love is looking at someone and their presence in your life makes you a better version of yourself. Continue reading →

Review : MegRhythm Steam Eye Mask by Kao

Do you wear contact lens? Do your eyes feel tired easily especially after spending so much time in front of the computer? Do you find it hard to sleep at night due to stress? If your answer is yes to any of the questions, then this post is for you. I have been wearing contact lens everyday for about 10 years now and my eyes get really dry and tired easily especially after a long day. I’ve read about how putting on steam eye mask is able to help your eyes to relax and decided to give it a try. I’ve tried out different brands of eye mask and finally found the one that works well for me. Hence, today’s review is about *drumroll* Kao’s Megrhythm Steam Eye Mask, which claims to be Japan’s No. 1 mask. But before we continue, this is not a sponsored post. Everything here is based on my personal opinion about the mask. Continue reading →

Review : Tatcha – Worth The Hype?

Hey guys! Today’s post is all about TATCHA! Before we go on further, here are some information about the brand.

Tatcha is a Japanese skincare brand founded by Victoria Tsai, who went to Kyoto and was inspired by geisha’s “beauty rituals” for a soft and porcelain skin. The brand has a wide range of individual beauty products that can help address the needs of several different skin types : dry to dehydrated skin, normal to combination skin, and oily to unbalance skin.

The popular anti-aging mixture, known as the HADASEI-3 Bioactive Complex, claims to harness the essential, active ingredients found in three primary ingredients:

  • Green Tea Complete DNA Extract – Helps protect your skin from premature aging due to UV damage.
  • Okinawa Red Algae Extract – Helps your skin retain its moisture and improve its texture.
  • Japanese Rice Bran Extract – This unique ingredient acts as both an anti-oxidant and a moisturizer.

These are the primary ingredients that Tatcha has formulated in their individual products to address different skin conditions, as mentioned earlier. I like how the products are formulated without dyes, parabens, or urea, all of which have been known to cause irritation. Continue reading →

Here’s To Starting Over

If you are new to this blog, welcome! But if you have been reading my blog since ages ago, you might notice that all the older posts are gone and it has become a brand new blog. I’ve deleted everything as my previous blog was hacked. It was abandon for too long that software was not updated. My bad. I could back up all my old posts before deleting it, but I wanted a fresh start. So here it is.

Cheers to starting over.

Ever feel like things are going well in your life at one moment, and then everything just crumpled down the next? Life really is a roller-coaster, ain’t it? One minute we’re up. The next minute we’re down. We can have amazing and positive things going for us. We can have so much to look forward to and so much to be thankful for. But, when one bad thing happens, when one negative thing hurts us, we will dwell on it, letting it linger in our mind and daunt our feelings. Before we know it, this negative thing is gonna affect us mentally, physically and emotionally. And because we allow this one negative thought or feeling to settle and grow in our minds and hearts, a good day is easily turn into a bad one. Continue reading →
