Went to see the movie Inkheart last night with my family. And the movie was amazing.

The movie is based on the bestselling novel by Cornelia Funke. The story Inkheart is like a fantasy adventure that involves both real and imagined worlds. It’s about a guy named “Mol” Folchart (Brendan Fraser) that has  unique gift of bringing characters from the book to life when he reads it out loud. But every time when a character from the book was bring out to life, a real person disappears into its pages. And that’s how his wife, Resa (Sienna Guillory) vanished into the mystical world.

12 years later, when Mol went to the secondhand bookshop with his daughter, Maggie (Eliza Hope Bennett), he heard voices that he haven’t heard for years. As he tries to locate where the voices are coming from, he saw the book, Inkheart – the book he has been searching for since Maggie was 3 years old and when his wife, Resa vanished. Mol’s plans is to find Resa and rescue her but Capricon (Andy Serkis), the evil villian of Inkheart, kidnaps Maggie and demands Mol to bring out other evil characters to life by reading the book out loud. Mol doesn’t have a choice but to do what Capricon commands. Soon, he discover that his wife, Resa is still alive and his daughter, Maggie too has the unique gift of bringing characters out from the book.
