Went to watch Bedtime Stories with my family yesterday during midnight. The movie was not bad. It’s actually quite nice.
It’s about a father, Marty Bronson (Jonathan Pryce) owns a motel. But because the motel losses lot of money, Barry Nottingham (Richard Griffiths) brought the motel and promise Marty that he would let his son, Skeeter Bronson (Adam Sandler) runs the hotel when he’s grown up and proven himself. From a motel, Barry turns it into a pricey hotel. When Skeeter grew up, he was the handyman of the hotel and still hoping that he will become the manager someday. Unfortunately, when Barry announce a brand-new gigantic hotel project, he makes his future son-in-law, Kendall (Guy Pierce) to be the manager, shattering Skeeter’s dream.
At the same time, Skeeter’s sister, Wendy (Courtney Cox) has to leave town for a job interview and ask Skeeter to look after her children, Patrick (Jonathan Morgan Heit) and Bobbi (Laura Ann Kesling) during the night while her colleague, Jill (Keri Russel) will look after them during the day. Skeeter’s life starts changing after he told the children a bedtime story. The children then grow fond of him and begin to bring their ideas about how the story should go. When the stories become real, Skeeter tries to change the stories into a direction which will make his dream come true.
