My dad (Alvin Cheong) attended an internet bootcamp in Singapore on the 7-9 Dec 2006 and that was when he took the opportunity to bring the whole family there for a short vacation. We reached the bus terminal in Penang about 7.30a.m. By the time we reached, my grandpa has already waited for us to fetched us back to our lovely house. Our dogs, Max and Spike were very excited to see us and we’re glad to be home after the long journey. more…

We woke up at 7.00a.m and to get ready for some adventure again. My dad went for his seminar and we decided to go to the Singapore Zoo today. We reached the River View Hotel at about 8.30a.m.Unfortunately we can’t checked-in yet because the room will not be ready until 12.00 noon. So, we had to wait at the lobby. Since my dad has been late for his seminar, he has to leave us at the hotel. Then suddenly my mum had a great idea. She said “while waiting for the room, why don’t we go for a tour instead?”. My school Co-op society recently organized a trip to Genting Highlands on the 3-5 November 2006. About 26 students participated and accompanied by 4 teachers (Ms Teh, Puan Gan, Puan Oh and Ms Ang). We went there by a chartered tour bus. We met in school and started our journey at about 7.00 am and reached there at about 1.00 pm. When we reached there, we gathered at the lobby and waited to get our room keys. After we’ve got our keys, we went straight to the hotel room. The room was just big enough for 3 of us to share. We took a rest after the long journey. more…
